Continuing in the tradition of Alpine Community Theater’s reputation for excellence, camaraderie, and family friendly environment, ACT Performing Arts Academy will provide classes in theater, dance and voice – three essential elements for all thespians and stage performers.
By combining theater, music and dance, our Academy curriculum will:
- Train, develop and nurture the complete stage performer
- Increase performance skills and self confidence in each individual
- Encourage personal fulfillment and enjoyment for a lifetime
- Provide outstanding instruction and performance opportunities
- Inspire and instill the joy of theater, dance and music for the fun of it
Our wide variety of Academy classes* include instruction in the following:
- Ballroom Dance, Tap, Jazz, Dance Technique, Musical Theater Choreography
- Creative Ballet, Character Ballet, Lyrical Ballet
- Acting Skills, Theater Arts and History, Musical Theater, Shakespeare
- Voice Development, Music Theory, Vocal styles
- Fun and exciting Summer Camp Programs, Special Workshops.
Exciting Academy Performing Groups** will include:
- Kids in the ACT- Children’s Theater (Auditions in August 2012)
- GottaACT- Youth Theater (Auditions in August 2012)
- Musical Dance Theater Companies (Auditions TBA)
- ACT Ensemble Singers- Children’s Choir. (Auditions TBA)
- GottaSing -Young Ambassador-type Show Choirs. (Auditions TBA)
- Ballroom Dance Companies (Auditions in August 2012)
- GottaDance Dance Companies (Auditions August 2012)

ACT Performing Arts Academy is conveniently located in Alpine, Utah in the Brown Cobblestone Building at Alpine’s Main Street Village, right next door to the Clock Tower. The address is 40 West Main Street Court, Suite 175, Alpine, UT 84004.
